I have listed brief descriptions of various workshops and 1 on 1 business consulting sessions I will be conducting in the month of November throughout my region. These are designed to help you grow your business with the Commonwealth. All of the workshops sponsored by the SBSD are free of charge. However, registration is required.

One on One Business Consults
These 90 – minute sessions are designed to help businesses like yours better understand how to do business with the Commonwealth of Virginia state agencies. Whether it’s helping your business become certified in Virginia’s small business set-aside programs (SWaM and Micro), navigating the electronic procurement portal (eVa) which ALL state agencies use for solicitations, or helping you connect with key agency buyers, these sessions can help!

Selling to the Commonwealth
This workshop provides an overview of the eVa system (Virginia’s electronic procurement portal). It also features a Q & A panel with different purchasing professionals. This panel will consist of buyers from state and local government agencies as well as the private sector. Reviews the SWaM, Micro, and federal DBE certification programs.
